FIFO Mechanical Fitters

8/6 Roster | $55 + Super | Ongoing Work | Pilbara - WA Based

We’re recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to support a growing operation specialising in the manufacture and refurbishment of mining pulleys. This is ongoing work with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

The Role
You’ll be part of a small, focused team (fewer than ten on site), carrying out detailed mechanical work in a clean, organised workshop. The job involves disassembling, rebuilding, and fitting pulleys to precise tolerances. It’s well-structured work in a professional environment, with a solid crew and long-term outlook.

Requirements

Bearing installation and replacement

Competent using torque wrenches

Skilled with precision tools—vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators

Strong workshop experience and attention to detail

Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented

Conditions & Benefits

$55 per hour + super

8/6 roster - 12-hour days including travel days (fly in and out on a Monday)

$240 meal allowance per swing

$60 travel allowance per swing

Ongoing work with long-term potential
