About Us: Our company 'Bed Alarms' has been supplying direct to Aged Care facilities, Hospitals and Health Care Product & Service Providers since we were first established in 2008. Our team are committed to improving the safety and wellbeing of older Australians through the design and supply of quality, innovative fall prevention solutions.
Our most recent award-winning product ‘Violet Assure’ has been thoughtfully designed with both functionality and dignity in mind, and we’re now introducing this to our current and future client base.
Role Overview: A newly created position in a well-established business going through a transition.
As Business Development Officer, you’ll lead the national B2B growth of our fall prevention product range to new and existing customers. This role is perfect for a passionate relationship builder who (preferably) understands the nuances of the Aged Care industry and who (definitely) has a flair for sales, marketing, and strategic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Drive national B2B sales growth and market penetration within the Aged Care industry
Champion the launch and market expansion of a design award-winning fall prevention product
Lead online advertising initiatives, including content creation and performance evaluation
Design and create marketing materials including email templates, flyers etc.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders
Represent the company at industry events and site visits, with national travel as required
Stay informed of market and industry trends to inform business strategies
Accurately maintain the company marketing database for the business using Prospect CRM software, Including creating and following logical information/ input protocols
Present marketing ideas, including cost benefit estimates to the business Director & Management team
About You
Proven experience in B2B sales and/or account management
Previous exposure to, or strong understanding of the Aged Care industry is advantageous
Confident communicator with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen
Competency in online advertising platforms and CRM systems (Prospect CRM experience a bonus)
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Willingness to travel interstate occasionally
