About the role

Join Perfected Formwork Estimating as a Quantity Surveyor Assistant. This is a casual role where you will be supporting me in the estimation of construction projects across the industry. Once i am confident with your skills, we can hit the market and expand our brand together.

What you'll be doing

Assist Quantity Surveyors in preparing cost estimates and tender submissions for a variety of construction projects

Perform quantity take-offs, measure and quantify construction materials and labour requirements

Research and compile cost data from suppliers, subcontractors and industry publications

Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting

Provide administrative support to myself as needed, when needed

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field

1-2 years' experience in a quantity surveying or estimating role, preferably in the construction industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Proficient in using construction estimating software BluBeam and MS Excel

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and ask questions as much as needed to avoid mistakes

Able to read construction plans is a MUST.
