McCabe Transport is a Road Transport Company based in Unanderra.

1x Full time position available (Payroll/ Accounts payable & receivable)

McCabe Transport has been in operation in the Wollongong area of New South Wales since 1996. We are bulk haulage carriers of Industrial waste, scrap steel, gravel products and agricultural products providing services not only locally but both interstate and intrastate. We are NHVR and Truck safe accredited.

We are seeking a bright, energetic, highly organized individual who is passionate about payroll & accounts and is ready to take this opportunity to join our team on a full time basis.

Applicants will require:

Experience in Accounts Payable

Experience in Reckon (preferred but not essential)

Experience with preparation of weekly pay runs including staff expenses & credit card reconciliations.

Month end reporting

Assisting in weekly payroll preparation

Collation and checking of timesheets.

Data entry of weekly payroll

Assisting with payroll queries

Basic award interpretation

General administration duties and data entry

Accounts receivable experience

Generation of payroll / financial reports

The successful Candidates would Require the Following:

Strong administrative experience in a similar role

Proficient in the use of accounting software (Reckon Accounts preferable)

Some experience within the transport industry would also be an advantage.

You must be able to multi-task and possess a can-do attitude.

An ability to prioritise & attention to detail

Good communication skills and the ability to work in a small team environment
