An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the Community Health team at Geraldton Hospital in the Midwest.
To be successful, you will have...
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to implement health promotion principles into clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate primary health programs.
- Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in Community Health Nursing.
- Experience in providing immunisation services.
- Possession of or substantial progress towards the attainment of a certificate in Child & Community Health Nursing through an accredited institution.
Position Profile:
Provides clinical services as part of the core community health programs such as immunisation, school health and child health. Responsible for providing quality primary health services to the community within their own levels of competency to meet planned health outcomes.
This is an “open-ended” recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted:
- The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis.
- Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
- Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/01/2026.
