An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Community Health Team in the Midwest.

- Significant clinical knowledge, experience, and leadership in Community health nursing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cultural factors and social determinants particularly relating to Aboriginal health.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills in a multidisciplinary team.
Position Profile:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Community Health is responsible for the coordination of primary health care for vulnerable children and families within the community setting, collaborates and advocates with key stakeholders within and outside the region. Collects data and prepares reports for specific child health projects. Acts as a role model and consultant to nurses and other health service providers providing knowledge, clinical expertise and best practice within area of responsibility.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent or Fixed Term Part Time appointments at 32 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient-facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months.
