We have been awarded a contract to deliver for Western Australia's $1.6 billion Railcar Program. As part of the project we will design, manufacture and maintain 246 new railcars needed for METRONET projects and the replacement of the A-series trains. We will also deliver 6 DMU railcars to replace the Australind service between Perth and Bunbury.
We are currently seeking an Electrician to support the Train level testing activities (T&C and Validation) of the DMU railcars in accordance with Alstom internal rules, project needs and contract requirements: This is a 18 -month fixed term contract.
Your future role:
- Performing fault diagnosis, identification and rectification on the systems of the vehicle
- Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability
- Performing post work testing and validation as necessary
- Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out
- Supporting with train movements and other depot tasks as required.

- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing and repair
- A certificate III in Electrotechnology
- A current WA Electrical Licence.
