East Kenwick OSHC is situated in their own dedicated room within the grounds of East Kenwick Primary School, our goal is to give the children opportunities to do the things they love and enjoy in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Our program is focused around sports, cooking, games, discovery, and arts and craft activities as well as relaxation time around a busy life at school. Children are encouraged, educated and entertained during their time with us.

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OSHC 2IC, the successful applicant will work alongside the Co-Ordinator to manage our Before & After School Care and Vacation Care Program, delivering a remarkable service to support families and children.

Reporting to the Owner, the essential purpose of this role is to deliver a fun and engaging program.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and passionate person with previous experience working with primary school children of all ages and developmental levels.

Responsibilities

Help lead a small, passionate team of educators

Design & deliver hands-on, engaging activities based on children’s interests (from STEM to sport to arts and more) with the My Time, Our Place framework

Ensure the service adheres to all relevant regulations and statutory requirements.

Maintain excellent relationships with our families, the school and the greater community

To be successful, you will need

Diploma Qualified or Certificate IV Out of School Care or equivalent

Proven leadership experience in OSHC or Childcare industry

The highest level of initiative and be self driven

Strong inter-personal skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills

Be energetic, enthusiastic and love to have FUN!
