A household name with millions of engaged members is embarking on a new strategic direction for its loyalty program, one that is insight-led, future-facing and highly customer-centric. As part of this transformation, a new opportunity has been created for a Senior Propositions Manager to shape what loyalty looks like for the next generation of shoppers.
This is not a BAU role, it’s a chance to take bold ideas and turn them into real, compelling member propositions that drive both commercial and customer value.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Loyalty, this high-profile role will lead the development of innovative loyalty propositions, backed by data, customer research and market trends. You’ll be responsible for crafting the strategic roadmap, designing new offers and experiences and aligning loyalty efforts with broader business and customer goals.
You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of proposition managers, experience designers, insights partners and senior commercial leads, all focused on redefining what great looks like in the loyalty space.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and strategy of new loyalty propositions that drive acquisition, engagement and retention
- Build strategic business cases and financial models to justify and guide investment decisions
- Use data, insights and customer research to uncover member needs and identify emerging opportunities
- Set the long-term roadmap for the loyalty program in line with customer segmentation and business priorities
- Collaborate across marketing, tech, finance, product, commercial and data teams to bring propositions to life
- Present strategy and updates to senior executives, with strong exposure and visibility across the business
- Foster a culture of test-and-learn, customer obsession and innovation within the team
About You
This role will suit a commercially minded strategist with a passion for customer value, loyalty and proposition design. You might come from a top-tier consultancy, a customer strategy function, or have led proposition work in another sector such as financial services, travel, or consumer retail.
You’ll be excited by big challenges, confident in ambiguity and bring a creative, data-driven approach to shaping what’s next.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in loyalty strategy, proposition design, or customer strategy
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen – able to link insight with action
- Experience building and leading business cases and financial models
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and influencing capability – comfortable with senior visibility
- A passion for understanding customer needs and market trends
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with high expectations
