About your opportunity
The Strategy and Support Division places people at the centre of everything we do. We work directly with clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and people impacted by cancer to reduce inequities and improve outcomes for all Victorians, now and into the future. As part of the Strategy and Support Division, you will be part of the Supportive Care Team which operates under the Cancer Information and Support Services (CISS) Unit.
The CISS Unit is piloting the use of AI enabled tools to compliment our service delivery as part of our digital transformation projects.
We are seeking a full-time Knowledge Management Lead to join the Supportive Care Programs team. Reporting to the Head of Supportive Care Programs, your role is to:
- Develop and implement a knowledge management strategy that ensures accurate, accessible and up-to-date resources across the Cancer Information and Support Services Unit.
- Establish and maintain systems to house key information, including financial counselling documents, referral protocols and guidance tools.
- Drive alignment between service delivery and knowledge resources to support quality, compliance and staff capability.
- Monitor and coordinate documentation and evidence to meet Victorian Government reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance access to information, build organisational capability and deliver grant-funded initiatives.
All about you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in knowledge management, information systems, health or social services.
- Are highly organised and confident managing large volumes of documents and information.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders across different teams.
- Is experienced with document and information systems, particularly SharePoint.
- Understands the importance of quality, evaluation and continuous improvement in community or health-based service environments.
- Has experience in or knowledge of financial counselling, health, legal or social support services (desirable).
