Join a sizable Queensland firm that has 27 Lawyers and a great range of legal support team members. The role will have a large focus on clients from Management Rights, Body Corporate, and Strata Title developments.

Our client is seeking a new Lawyer for their dedicated body corporate practice.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with the Partner in this high growth area of law. The work mix will include:

• reviewing, negotiating and documenting management rights agreements, remuneration reviews, assignment and variations;
• reviewing, amending and documenting community management statements (CMS) and building management statements (BMS);
• reviewing, negotiating and documenting common property amalgamations, subdivisions, leases, licenses and sales;
• by law reviews and enforcement;
• community management statement advice;
• building management statement advice;
• general body corporate advice; and
• non-litigious body corporate disputes.

We are keen to brief candidates who have property law backgrounds and who have interest in body corporate law. This team will consider early career Lawyers up to circa 3 Years PAE. The successful candidate will have a willingness to learn, take feedback and have the motivation to develop strong technical skills.

Experience with body corporate law would be an advantage but not essential.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
