Originally founded by Ross Condo in 1972, “R Condo & Sons” decided to move the business to the current site at Stepney after 5 successful years at Glynde.

Many years later Ross’s son, Cos Condo began working in the family business. He started out as a teenager, sweeping the floors in his dad’s workshop, then worked his way through a spray painting apprenticeship. As a qualified tradesman, Cos took over the business after his father’s retirement in 2003.

Since becoming the Director, Cos has developed the business into what it is today. Dynamic Paint N Panel are now operating two repair facilities are regarded as experts in automotive repairs and refinishing. With more than 45 years’ experience you can trust us to get the job done right.

Qualifications & Experience

AQF Certificate III including at least 2 years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV.

Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience across a wide variety of roles, and with technologically advanced motor vehicles

Highly motivated, reliable, and loyal

Work to the highest professional standard with pride in quality of work

Highly responsible and able to work effectively in a busy workshop

Exceptional communication skills with employer and customer

Great team player

Tasks and responsibilities

• prepare parts and surfaces for painting or coating by removing dirt, rust, and any loose/old paint
• mix and match the paint and tints precisely
• pour paint into spray guns and adjust nozzles for accurate paint flow and thickness
• properly mask areas which are not being painted and remove tape at the completion of the job
• removing rough spots on vehicle panels
• sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
• masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
• colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
• apply rust proof undercoats and primers using a spray gun
• touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
• identify and touch up any defective areas
• removing masking papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
• keep track of paint stock inventory and liaise with appropriate person
• safe use of spray paint tools and equipment such as spray guns, paint shakers, pressure pots etc
• compliance with WHS policies and procedures
