We’re currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Plant Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. This role offers a dynamic mix of workshop and field-based work, maintaining and repairing a wide range of earthmoving equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs in line with manufacturers’ specifications

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults

Conduct on-site service and repairs for customers

Collaborate with team members on major overhauls and equipment commissioning

Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Carry out workshop housekeeping and general maintenance

Complete safety-related tasks including job inspections, task planning, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)

Skills & Experience

Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Diesel Mechanics

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems

Ability to work independently and within a team

Excellent communication and attention to detail

Current driver’s license (HR and forklift license desirable)
