Your Building and Maintenance team is a well-established company specializing in residential and commercial carpentry projects. Our team prides itself on delivering superior craftsmanship and exceptional service to our clients. We are now looking to expand our team with a skilled carpenter who can help us continue building a reputation for excellence.

Position: Experienced Carpenter
Location: Office is based in Acacia ridge but work In Brisbane and Gold coast
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and project specifications

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials

Work with hand and power tools safely and efficiently

Ensure all work is completed to high-quality standards, on time, and within budget

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other team members to meet project goals

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices/carpenters

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum of 5 years experience post apprenticeship preferred)

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials

Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong work ethic and reliability

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to work on scaffolding, experience with specialized carpentry techniques, or other relevant certifications
