A leading name in the building materials and construction space is seeking a driven and experienced Account Manager to join their Canberra team. Specialising in aluminium systems for windows, doors, and façade solutions, this organisation has built a strong presence in the commercial, residential and industrial sectors, with a reputation for quality, innovation, and technical expertise.

Role Description

This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic Account Manager with a solid background in the aluminium windows and doors industry to take ownership of a thriving territory. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a proven hunting mentality, someone who is not afraid to knock down doors, build relationships, and win business.

Reporting directly to the ACT Branch Manager & NSW Sales Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing existing client relationships while actively developing new business within the window and door fabrication, architectural, and construction sectors. Previous exposure to the plastics or extrusions industry will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the windows, doors, and façade industry

Drive business development through proactive sales strategies and pipeline growth

Provide technical advice and product support across aluminium systems and solutions

Manage territory sales targets, pricing strategies, and customer account planning

Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and service excellence

Identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy

Attend site visits, client meetings, and industry events to build presence and credibility

Salary and Benefits

Base $80k + Super 12% + Company Car + $20k Commission
