We’re bringing something fresh to pool retail and you could be part of it. At Direct Pool Supplies, we’re looking for friendly, hands-on Retail Assistants to join our local teams in both Cardiff and Swansea.

About the role
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll provide friendly service, learn the ropes of pool care, and help locals get the most from their backyard pools. You’ll be primarily based at either our Cardiff or Swansea store but may occasionally be asked to support the other location.

Your day might include:

Welcoming customers and offering helpful, honest advice

Pool water testing and recommending solutions (training provided)

Keeping the store tidy, stocked and looking great

Assisting with stock, orders, and general store support

Learning as you go and becoming a go-to for pool product knowledge

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone upbeat, reliable, and who enjoys chatting with people. We'd also love to hear from you if you’re organised, motivated, and love a challenge.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Retail or customer service experience (pool knowledge is a bonus – not essential)

A great attitude and willingness to learn

Confidence with people and basic computer skills

Strong attention to detail and good time management

A team-first approach and solid work ethic
