ABOUT THE ROLE:

Hybrid role - Based in Southern Gold Coast.

Job description:

Financial Management, Cost Control & Reporting

· Oversee & improve and improve the financial reporting system (Xero, Procore + project controls). Deliver monthly project and company level cashflow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports.

· Deliver end of project profitability report, contribute to financial lessons learned and assist in preparation of EOFY Financial Statements.

· Implement established end of project and end of financial year bonus procedures.

· Work closely with operations and project leads to ensure accurate cost allocation.

· Attend senior management meetings and provide relevant financial insights.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities across the business.

· Lead cost management reporting to support decision-making at both project and company level.

· Review budgets for bids prior to submission, flagging any risks or discrepancies.

· Inputting budget into Procore software & communicating to construction team.

· Support resource utilisation strategies to maximise return across teams and equipment.

· Assist CFO securing appropriate funding for capital acquisitions.

· Oversee progress claims, invoice schedules, and client retentions.

Commercial Oversight

· Assist the operations team in documenting and reviewing variations and assisting with commercial negotiation upstream and downstream.

· Oversee compliance with project commercial deliverables.

· Review and negotiate supplier and subcontractor contracts.

· Develop company commercial systems and processes.
