About the Company:

Our client is a mid size listed consumer business that has been established in Australia for decades. They have a highly profitable portfolio of brands and the organisation is going through an exciting period of change and transformation lead by an impressive MD and CFO. As part of the transformation they are looking at adding head count to key strategic areas of the finance team.

About the Role:

Join a high-performing team as a Finance Business Partner supporting the Sales function. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you’ll deliver actionable insights, optimise forecasting models, and partner with Sales and RGM teams to drive growth. This role is pivotal in connecting financial performance with commercial strategy across categories and channels.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Deliver analysis that shapes sales strategies and commercial outcomes
  • Build and refine forecasting models across products and channels
  • Provide insights on performance trends, variances, and growth opportunities
  • Create dashboards and reporting tools that improve decision-making
  • Work closely with Sales and RGM to support pricing, promotions, and planning
  • Partner on new product launches and support with commercial modelling
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes

What You’ll Bring:

  • Degree-qualified with a CA/CPA/CFA (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years in a commercial or sales finance role
  • Background in FMCG or consumer goods
  • Strong Excel and data visualisation skills; experience with tools like TM1, Salesforce, or TPM is a bonus
  • Comfortable working with Sales teams and presenting financial insights clearly
  • Strong analytical thinker with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Confident, proactive, and thrives in a fast-moving business
