The Falcon is looking for Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager / Maître'd to help with the operation of our fantastic little venue.

The Falcon is a well established restaurant and bar with the doors opening early 2018. We have a great little restaurant with an approachable bar that really welcomes you in. Awarded 2024 "Bar of The Year", the premier award, at Hunter Hunter's first annual Hospo awards for excellence.

This role requires a smiling face and someone who is a customer service pro, sets the mood, works the floor & can bar back if required. Bar experience is not essential, but a willingness to learn these skills is required. We need you to help host all the guests & be one of the first touch points at the front door.

We are looking to fill a role that frees up the main anchor of the restaurant, Sven - who's former assistant has moved to another role. This role is to assist Sven with the operation and execution of the operation of the Falcon day to day.

Your role:

Showcase Hosting & customer service skills on floor or behind bar.

Collaborate with our GM Sven & Chef Sean, to assist in nightly & daily service.

Floor control & organise nightly bookings.

Float and manage floor staff where required.

Welcome customers in a genuine manner.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about working in a awesome directional restaurant/bar, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys being part of a dynamic team. Experience in a similar role is essential. We want good ideas on drinks & food, we totally believe in each staff member's input.
