About the role

The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance and repairs on Locomotives and associated equipment within the facility to required standards.

Requirements of the position

Ability to read, comprehend and apply technical drawings.

Overhauls

High level communications and interpersonal skills

High level problem solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training

Knowledge and understanding of diesel/electric locomotives desirable

Have permanent work rights with no restrictions

Positions available for Qualified Tradesmen and / or 3rd / 4th year Apprentices

Skills and experience

Trade qualifications (Mechanical or other related disciplines).

Previous experience working within a heavy maintenance (preferred)
