We’re seeking a compassionate and proactive Workplace Inclusion and Support Officer to lead and support initiatives, guide a team of Employment Coaches, and drive process improvements that enhance the experience and outcomes for employees we support.
You will play a key role in ensuring the success of supported employment programs by providing high-level support, leadership, and guidance. You’ll work closely with Employment Coaches, Site Managers and external stakeholders to create safe, inclusive and empowering workplaces. You’ll oversee case management, training, behavioural support, and goal development for employees we support, while also contributing to operational compliance, efficiency, safety and financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of committed Employment Coaches in supporting employees with disabilities or other barriers to employment to succeed in their careers. This includes supporting transitions to work, transitions to open employment, and transitions to retirement.
- Ensure effective use of NDIS funding and align workforce planning with business needs.
- Mentor and guide Employment Coaches in person-centred, rights-based employment supports, including complex case management, behaviour support and trauma-informed approaches.
- Lead learning and professional development across the site, including training of Employment Coaches, training of employees that we support and ensuring compliance with changing legislative requirements.
- Lead business improvement processes for, identifying and implementing innovative and effective solutions to processes, policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field
- Desirable Qualification of bachelor’s degree in social work or similar preferred
- Experience in disability support, social work, adult education, or supported employment
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and NDIS standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and client safety systems
- Willingness to obtain Blue Card, Yellow Card and National Police Certificate
