About the role:
Service Delivery Transformation Command (SDTC) is a specialist area within Victoria Police that works across the organisation to design, develop and implement a service delivery model that will better enable Victoria Police to serve the community by:
- predicting emerging and future demands;
- creating more flexible and evidence-based responses to demand;
- making best use of information, diverse expertise and technology;
- partnering with the appropriate range of key stakeholders;
- integrating more effectively with the wider service sector; and
- utilising our resources efficiently, effectively and safely.
SDTC has an opportunity for a VPSG-3 Executive Support/Project Officer to work in the Office of Assistant Commissioner, supporting the Assistant Commissioner SDTC.
This is a part time opportunity, working two (2) days per week (Thursday and Friday) for a fixed term period from Monday 22 September 2025 to Friday 2 May 2026 inclusive.
This position must have experience in the provision of high-quality administrative support services and a demonstrated record of strong commitment and achievement in meeting customer needs.

Your duties will include:
- Provide administrative support to a Senior Manager, including calendar and meeting management and Secretariat support to a range of Committees.
- Maintain filing, registers and manage records for correspondence;
- Research and prepare information on issues and topics for the Senior Manager;
- Establish small-scale improvements in the office and support projects underway.
- Providing advice and assistance across the Division as needed;
- Assist to develop concepts and submissions for the Division as needed;
- Raising Purchase orders and financial support.
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Experience providing high quality administrative support.
- Experience in managing office systems, including implementing changes to improve efficiency.
- Understanding of project methodologies and experience participating in project activities.
- Well-developed research skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service.
- Well-developed communication skills (written and oral).
- Well-developed time management skills.
- Strong integrity and discretion.
Further Information:
- One (1) x part-time, fixed-term position is available.
- The position is part time and the salary plus superannuation will be pro rata.
- This position is located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.

- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
