Abel Patios seek a full time trade assistant/installation trainee to join our patio team. You will work with a qualified tradesperson (team leader) and assist with the construction of steel frame patios, carports and verandas.

Experience with patio installations is advantageous, but not essential. A great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn is essential.

Ideally, you will have previous exposure to the construction and building industry and be familiar with the use of most hand held tools.

The role is full time and the pay is commensurate with ability and/or experience. For the right candidate, there is opportunity for career development, including promotion to team leader and supervisor.

We are a registered builder, we're quality controlled and heavily regulated; we do things by the book!

Hours of work are typically Monday to Friday 7:00am to 15:00 with some overtime occasionally required.

Prerequisites for the role include:

A vehicle and manual driver's license (valid), pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, a current white card, your own hand tools and good physical health.
