About the role

DSE Electrical and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Operator to join our team on a contract basis/ full time/casual. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an established construction company, operating plant and machinery as part of our construction projects.

FIFO role 14 and 7 roster, 10 hr per day. Site is near Cloncurry Qld flying into Mt Isa

What you'll be doing

Safely and efficiently operating a range of construction equipment and machinery, including excavators and Skidsteer loaders installing trenching for reticulation

Performing routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety

Collaborating with the wider construction team to complete projects on time and to a high standard

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

Reporting any issues or concerns to the site supervisor

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an Operator in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of plant and machinery operation

Relevant qualifications and licenses, such as a HR driver's license and appropriate machinery/equipment certifications

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills
