Dash Group is currently seeking skilled and reliable Excavator Operators to join our growing team. We have multiple projects underway across the civil construction and landscaping sectors, with a strong pipeline of works throughout the Moreton Bay region.

Key Responsibilities As an Excavator Operator, you will be required to:

• Bulk earthworks
• Detailed works & trimming
• Trenching
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Stockpiling materials
• Spreading topsoil and site preparation

• Safely and efficiently operate excavators on active job sites.
• Carry out a variety of works including:
  
• Operate with precision in tight or built-up environments.
• Work confidently with a variety of attachments (e.g., augers, rock breakers, grabs, buckets, rippers, etc.).
• Follow site safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, labourers, and other machinery operators.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Proven hands-on operating experience on civil and/or landscaping projects.
• A strong understanding of excavation, earthmoving, and finishing techniques.
• Competence in operating excavators in various site conditions, including residential, commercial, and urban developments.
• Ability to read plans and follow instructions accurately.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Essential Requirements

• Current Excavator Ticket / VOC
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Relevant experience in civil construction, landscaping, or earthworks

(Additional tickets such as Roller, Skid Steer, or Loader are highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.)
