As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Associate – Financial Investment Adviser to support to our existing wholesale clients and grow our market share in NSW. This role is suited for an individual with a strong analytical mindset, keen interest in private markets, a commitment to investor-focused financial services and is based in Sydney CBD.

Role Overview

The Senior Adviser will play an integral role in supporting the firm’s private credit strategies by contributing to investment evaluation, risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, and investor funding.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management

· Assist wholesale clients with determining their financial objectives within the real estate sector.

· Develop investment implementation plans based on client requirements/mandates.

· Manage existing clients and grow Golden Rock Project’s market share in NSW.

· Assist GRP Team with KYC / AML requirements

Investment Research & Credit Analysis

· Conduct detailed market research on private credit, mortgage-backed lending trends, and real estate debt markets.

· Analyse loan submissions and assess borrower financials, collateral valuation, risk metrics, and covenant structures.

· Assist in preparing investment memoranda, credit papers, and due diligence reports for internal and committee review.

Portfolio Management & Reporting

· Monitor the ongoing performance of debt and equity investments, including repayment profiles, interest coverage, maturity timelines, and LVR metrics.

· Produce and present regular investment and fund reports for internal stakeholders and external investors.

· Assist with maintaining and reconciling investment records in alignment with internal policies and audit requirements.

Professional Development

· Stay up to date with developments in the Australian financial services sector, particularly in private credit and mortgage fund regulations.

· Proactively work toward relevant industry certifications and licensing where applicable.

Reporting Line

This position reports directly to the Managing Director.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, economics, or a related field.

· 2–5 years of experience in private credit, real estate finance, funds management, or investment advisory.

· Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
