About the team

The Women's is a tertiary referral centre for women with complex gynaecological needs, chronic pelvic pain, issues related to menopause, pelvic floor and other urogynaecological problems. The outpatient's service is pivotal to the patient's journey through the Women's hospital. Setting first and lasting impressions for our women, creating exceptional experiences every day. The outpatient department accommodates several specialist clinics such as gynaecology, abortion, and contraception, urogynaecology, menopause, vulva/dermatology, menopause symptoms after cancer clinics and chronic pelvic pain clinic and colonoscopy. There are many speciality services within the Women's Health Clinics which require clinical coordination and a leader for improvement and change.

About the role

As an Dysplasia clinical coordinator you will be responsible for the clinical and operational requirements and collaborative case management of clients attending the Dysplasia service. There will be a component of direct clinical care by the Dysplasia clinical coordinator when required, to assist colposcopy and sample collection. You will have strong Women's health knowledge and have excellent problem-solving skills to be able to effectively and efficiently manage complex social and clinical situations. You will work collaboratively with the women's health outpatient multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes and ensure all guidelines are adhered to.

A regular day will see you:

  • Managing complex patient needs
  • Working in a multidisciplinary team
  • Coordinating clinics
  • Triaging patients

About you

  • Experience in Dysplasia management and/or women's health services
  • Experience coordinating a team/ patients
  • Knowledge of complexity of Dysplasia
  • Credentialed as Cervical Screening Test (CST) provider
