Fabrication Team Leader

Lead from the front in a hands-on workshop role
We’re looking for an experienced Fabrication Team Leader to join a busy workshop and take charge of daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll be leading the team while still working on the tools alongside them.
What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a small team of fabricators, welders and boilermakers on the floor
• Taking the lead on complex or priority jobs while guiding your team through theirs
• Assigning daily tasks and making sure work stays on schedule
• Reading and interpreting fabrication/engineering drawings
• Checking finished work to ensure it meets quality and spec
• Supporting safety, maintenance and general housekeeping in the workshop
• Liaising with supervisors and other departments to coordinate workflow

What we’re looking for:

• Trade qualified (boilermaker/fabricator or similar)
• Strong welding and fabrication skills — MIG, TIG, Stick
• Previous leadership experience or someone ready to step up
• Able to read and work from technical drawings
• Solid understanding of safety and quality systems
• A reliable communicator who leads by example and stays hands-on
