The Role
Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.

This role operates on 12-hour shifts: 6 days on - 7 days off. The candidate is required to start early anywhere from 3.30AM, 4.30AM or 7.30AM depending on the line they are assigned to.

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery, including machine setting and fault finding
• Warehouse duties including operating a forklift
• Recording/ Reporting of production data - including completing downtime sheets
• Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards
• Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures

About you

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Forklift license is highly desirable
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Self-starter and proactive nature
• Strong problem-solving skills
