Pastry Cook Team leader

Pigeon Whole Bakers, a leading and well-respected artisanal bakery, is looking for a passionate individual to assist in leading the pastry team in Hobart as we expand into another retail location. Pigeon Whole Bakers produces high quality and champions local seasonal produce.

A position is available for an experienced pastry cook to step up and assist in leading the team in a day to day operation. You will be responsible for all facets of the daily production including, mixing doughs, shaping and forming doughs, proofing and/or retarding doughs, nurturing the team, training and supplier relations. Prior experience would be preferred.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in the following selection criteria:

· Ability to project a professional manner at all times.

· Well-presented.

Efficient, with good organisational and planning skills
