Role: Sales Representative in Eaarthmoving Parts
Location: Mackay, QLD
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Super + Bonuses + Car + Laptop + Phone
Hours: Flexible (Workshop open from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm)

We’re seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Mackay, supporting clients across the Mackay/Bowen Basin regions within the mining and construction sectors.
The Company is the largest aftermarket supplier of earthmoving machinery parts in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Parts Interpretation: Act as the main contact for sales and parts interpretation, focusing on Caterpillar products, with approximately 70% of the role spent traveling to client sites.
• Customer Relations & Support: Build and maintain strong relationships, delivering high-quality support to customers and warehouse teams.
• Order Preparation and Merchandising: Support part orders and ensure high merchandising standards.
• Customer Portfolio Management: Manage a customer portfolio, specializing in products such as Undercarriage, Ground Engaging Tools (GET), Repair Parts, Tyres, and Rubber Tracks.
• Business Development: Proactively seek and pursue new business opportunities.
• Product Knowledge: Continuously develop expertise in our product range to meet evolving client needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Industry Experience: Background in internal/external sales, parts interpreting, or site inspections for track gear and GET.
• Customer Relations Skills: Established network or experience in the Mackay/Bowen Basin earthmoving and mining industries is highly regarded.
• Proactive Sales Mindset: Eager to develop new business and nurture client relationships.
• Knowledge in Construction and Mining: Understanding of these industries is preferred but not mandatory.
