This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Indirect Tax professional to step into a broad, business-facing role within a global medical devices organisation.

This business partnering position will see you take ownership of all Indirect Taxes for Australia and New Zealand, while supporting a range of commercial projects and business initiatives. It offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership, contributing both technically and strategically to key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the indirect tax compliance calendar, including preparation and review of GST, FBT, BAS and payroll tax returns
• Get involved in GST automation and innovation projects
• Provide practical, commercially focused tax advice on products, transactions, acquisitions and restructures
• Lead process improvement initiatives and governance reviews relating to indirect taxes
• Support internal controls, superannuation, reportable benefits and tax integration projects
• Partner with finance, legal, HR and commercial teams on cross-functional projects
• Deliver data analysis, process mapping and risk reviews to drive operational improvements

Role Requirements:

• Tax experience within a large corporate, chartered or professional services environment specialising in Indirect Tax
• Strong technical knowledge of GST and related tax legislation
• CA/CPA qualified
