Located amidst the serene bushland of Nabiac, our early childhood centre offers a truly unique environment for children, families, educators, and the community. Nabiac Early Learning is a small, privately owned long day care learning centre dedicated to inspiring learning, growth, and connection through nature.
Nabiac Early Learning is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator or Diploma to join our dedicated team as a Lead Educator and 2IC. $1000 sign on bonus after 3 months!
As 2IC , you will work alongside the Centre Director to ensure the effective management of the centre. Your core responsibilities will include the following:
Provide high-quality care and education to children in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Motivate and support the team.
Be part of our "Nabiac Natress" program, where children and Educators explore the surrounding bushland.
Ensure the Centre is compliant and exceeds all the regulatory requirements listed in the National Regulations and National Quality Standards, with a focus on providing an excellent level of education and care to the children.
Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity and a love of learning.
Build strong relationships with families, fostering open communication and collaboration.
Participate in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for
ACECQA approved Early Childhood Education and Care qualification, working towards may be considered.
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Completion of current Child Protection training and committment to Child Safe Standards.
Valid First-Aid Certificate, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
Current Working with Children Check.
Passion, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to nature based play and happy to spend most of the day exploring the outdoor environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to create and maintain exceptional learning environments, including outdoor spaces.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team of dedicated and professional educators.
Understanding and compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards.
