Strong financial management focus

To be considered for this contract you will need to be an Australian citizen and have a NV1 security clearance in place as a minimum. Contract is due to commence in September 2025.

The Product Manager in this role will provide a consistent experience and corporate knowledge base for the efficient and effective management of all financial delegations and responsibilities on behalf of Army Aviation and the management of one of its key products. Will also provide contract management support, managing commercial through the Defence Management Financial Plan (DMFP) cycle.

Some of the key tasks will involve:

Providing monthly financial tracking/monitoring of all expenditure and funds availability certificates.

Survey & Quote processes between Defence and ongoing Contractors.

Raising Purchase Orders within SAP.

Undertake Goods receipting of aviation services.

Meeting and informing the Army Financial Fleet Screen mandated governance requirements.

Completing Defence Management & Finance Plan (DMFP) Process.

As the ideal candidate you will have the following essential skills:

Demonstrated understanding of Aviation Products or other complex systems.

Demonstrated Capability Management and Sustainment experience.

Demonstrated experience in financial management and sustainment contract requirements.

Demonstrated intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft (Excel/Word/Powerpoint).

Demonstrated ability to conduct presentations within a group environment.

Demonstrated ability to conduct report writing for senior leadership or commanders.

Desirable criteria:

Previous MyFi SAP Financial system experience or civilian equivalent.

Previous ADF service within logistics or finance.
