🌴 Live and Work at the Beach!

Arapala Macadamia Farm is seeking a capable, enthusiastic and non-smoking couple to live on-site at our beachfront farm on the Mid North Coast of NSW. This is a full-time lifestyle opportunity to live right at the beach while taking on a rewarding role in property maintenance, gardening and housekeeping.

About the Role

This is a full-time, live-in position for a couple. Together, you will be responsible for maintaining a coastal residential and farming property, including:

🔧 Property Maintenance / Handyperson

General repairs and maintenance across houses, sheds, and farm buildings

Carpentry, painting, basic plumbing and electrical work

Operating and servicing small machinery (tractors, mowers, etc.)

Maintaining clean, safe workspaces and securing tools/equipment

Sourcing parts and managing workshop supplies

🌱 Gardening

Maintenance of native gardens, lawns and veggie patches

Weed control, propagation, pruning, mowing

Use of small machinery such as edgers, trimmers and mowers

Understanding of irrigation systems and coastal horticulture preferred

🧼 Housekeeping

General household cleaning – bathrooms, kitchens, floors, windows

Laundry, ironing, and daily housekeeping tasks

Shopping and running errands as needed

Work schedules may vary depending on occupancy of the residence

About You

We're looking for a practical, reliable and good-natured couple who:

Have a trade background and/or property maintenance experience

Are experienced with tools and small machines

Have a strong understanding of garden maintenance and lawn care

Have excellent cleaning and household management skills

Hold driver’s licenses (both required). Chainsaw and chemical certificates desirable.

Are well presented and committed to maintaining a non-smoking environment

Can provide written references supporting your experience and character

Bonus points for: cooking or bookkeeping experience
