Opportunity available for a talented Carpenter/Junior Leading Hand to join a small Construction company company in Brisbane, reporting directly to the Owner.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be undertaking Carpentry projects, joining a small team including the Director, 2 x Apprentice Carpenters and a small crew of Labourers.

This construction company specialises in;

residential and commercial insurance repairs

kitchens, bathrooms and decking

a few larger private residential renovations

Project sizes are generally small to mid-sized.

The region you will be covering is Brisbane Metro.

This is a full time position, Monday - Friday.

The starting salary on offer is $70,000 - $80,000 + superannuation + company vehicle OR vehicle allowance.

The business owner is looking for 2 x confident and skilled Carpenters to join his small team, to allow him to focus on growing the business.

He currently takes an active role in running all jobs himself, and he's looking for individuals that he can continue jobs without him needing to be there all of the time. In this respect, the role could be considered a Junior Leading Hand.

ABOUT YOU

Cert III Carpentry

Cert IV Building preferred but not necessary.

Prior experience specifically within insurance repairs, refurbishment and maintenance works highly advantageous.

Someone able to make decisions, lead trades and small job on site when the owner is not present.

An ability to communicate well with customers/property owners + represent the owner when not present.

Unrestricted driving license.

Interest to commit to the role long term + grow with the business.
