Job Details:

- Experienced ETL Developers for development of complex reporting solutions in Teradata EDW, SAP, DB2 environment.

- Contribute to data mgmt capabilities, including ETL for data warehouses + Data Lake (RDBMS/HDFS).

- Analysis, design and dev in a Teradata EDW environment.

- Dev ETL solutions using a variety of tools including SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio Viewpoint, Pcom and Control-M.

Knowledge / qualifications

- 4+yrs experience in at least one of: Teradata SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio

- Proven experience in ETL for Teradata

- Proven experience in designing and delivering data analytics solutions

- SQL, Unix, Linux and /or JCL

- Strong written communication skills

Essential criteria

1. Methods and tools: Level 4 (SFIA). Advice and guidance on methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards; tailors processes and reviews and improves methods and tools.

2. Programming/software development: Level 4 (SFIA). Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services.

3. Release and deployment: Level 4 (SFIA). Assesses and analyses release components ; maintains and administers tools and methods; maintains release processes and procedures.

4. Software configuration: Level 4 (SFIA). Designs, verifies, documents, amends and refactors complex software configs for deployment; participates in selection of the software config methods and tools.

5. Software design: Level 3 (SFIA). Design of software applications or components; applies agreed standards, guidelines, patterns and tools; creates multiple design views for different stakeholders functional and NFRs.

6. Systems design: Level 4 (SFIA). Designs system components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns and methodology.

7. Systems integration and build: Level 4 (SFIA). Technical expertise in configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing; collaborates to develop system integration plans and report on progress.

8. Testing: Level 3 (SFIA). Designs test cases and test scripts; participates in requirement, design and specification reviews.

Desirable criteria

1. Application support: Level 3 (SFIA). Follows agreed procedures to identify and resolve issues with applications.
