Flynn's Airconditioning & Electrical is a trusted, locally owned business servicing Darwin, Palmerston, and surrounding regions. We work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, providing high-quality air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical services with a strong focus on honesty, reliability, and customer care.

We’re on the hunt for a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our rapidly growing team — someone who enjoys a mix of domestic, commercial, and occasional industrial work, and who’s open to developing new skills in electrical and refrigeration and air conditioning work.

What You'll Be Doing

Domestic refrigeration and air conditioning installations, repairs, and maintenance.

Industrial and commercial air conditioning & refrigeration systems – larger-scale installations, servicing, and fault finding.

Customer-facing jobs – building trust with homeowners, business owners, and contractors.

Attending quotes for residential work and assisting to build and develop the company.

What We’re Offering

$40–$50 per hour (depending on experience).

A Toyota Hiace van.

38–40 hour weeks (unless working away).

Opportunities to upskill to a dual trade - we will train you to be an electrician if you’re the right fit.

What You Need

Relevant refrigeration mechanic qualifications (Certificate III).

Current ARCTICK license.

A valid driver’s licence.

The ability to pass drug and alcohol screens and medicals.

A positive attitude — reliable, down-to-earth, and takes pride in quality work.

Must be based in Darwin, this is not a FIFO role.

Must be valid to work in Australia.

Must be a qualified tradesperson, or a 3rd-4th year apprentice may be considered.
