Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of our next generation. We predominantly achieve this through delivering our Accessible Adventures programs for young people with disabilities - through our newest brand, Access Adventure Club!

We have been in operation for 10 years and are leaders in a uniquely positioned niche that falls between outdoor education, disability support and tourism in Australia. We currently have a team of 15 full time staff and approximately 45 casual staff.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be a superstar customer service and sales representative that puts smiles on the faces of our customers and their families. You'll need to be a compassionate listener, a great communicator, and have a hunger to highlight to customers the real value of our services. You'll be able to handle objections and connect emotionally with customers in many cases. This role will directly impact how many young people we can connect with nature, and the quality of those connections.

The role can be summed up into 3 main components:

Providing sales based customer service on the phone and via email to parents and carers who enquire about our NDIS Camps (60%)

Working inside our CRM and database, to ensure all leads and deals are up to date (20%)

Participating in weekly team routines such as meetings and reporting on metrics (20%)

The Ideal Candidate will be a person who:

Is a natural extrovert, and has the ability to build rapport quickly

Is a solid, proven administrator

Is open to working a half-day on Saturdays.

Has a strong passion for nature and the outdoors, and is driven by positively impacting the wellbeing of young people.

Possibly has had experience within the NDIS or working with people with disabilities.

The role is a part-time contract 0.7 FTE, 3.5 days total per week (ideally Mon-Wed-Fri and half-day on Saturday) However for the right candidate we can accommodate more or less workload and adjustable days. Our office is located in Everard Park, South Australia 5035.
