Development Manager (Project Sourcing Focus) – BRisbane - Gold Coast

We are seeking a proactive and commercially savvy Development Manager to identify and secure new residential and mixed-use development opportunities across the Gold Coast and Southeast Queensland. This key role involves expanding our development pipeline through strategic land acquisition, market analysis, and strong relationship building with landowners, agents, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and acquire potential development sites (greenfield and infill)
• Lead due diligence, including feasibility studies, market research, planning assessments, and financial modelling
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with real estate agents, landowners, councils, and consultants
• Prepare acquisition proposals and investment documentation for internal review
• Collaborate with town planners, architects, and consultants on initial scheme design and development strategies
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes impacting development opportunities
• Support early-stage project planning and initial approvals

Requirements:

• 15+ years’ experience in property development, land acquisitions, or real estate advisory
• Strong knowledge of the Queensland property market and local planning schemes
• Proven success in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating development opportunities
• Excellent financial modelling and feasibility assessment skills
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication abilities
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Property Economics, Urban Planning, Business, or related fields)

Casual Loading
