Role:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Mine Clerk to support our mining operations through essential administrative and logistical tasks. In this pivotal full-time role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing comprehensive reports and ensuring timely processing of critical documentation.
This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment. Your efforts will directly support the smooth and efficient operation of our site.
Prior experience in mining or heavy industry is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reporting information
Assist with the maintenance of the Incident and Hazard (INX) database ensuring accurate and timely updates.
Perform data entry for daily, weekly and monthly operational and safety reporting
Coordinate shift data from Live Mine producing department-specific daily reports as required
Compilation and production of site weekly report and monthly targets
Coordinate and produce various ad hoc reporting requirements across departments
Manage the accuracy and integrity of the hazard and incident data to support effective and timely reporting
Daily entry of mining and safety information into the appropriate formats/systems to enable effective and timely reporting
Support Live Mine data management including compilation, validation and reporting
Assistance with the incident and Hazard Database (INX)
Review of information from shifts to ensure accuracy and completeness
About You:
To be successful in the role, you will possess:
Mandatory:
Experience in the Mining, Construction and/or Earthmoving industry
Qualification in Office Administration desirable, but not essential
Advanced computer/numeric skills.
Accurate and highly proficient in data entry and management
Excellent computer skills – proficient in MS Office suite.
Ability to work unsupervised in a confidential and discreet manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, with the self-discipline to achieve tasks on time and with minimal supervision.
Experience with integrated commercial ERP packages, preferably Pronto.
Excellent communication skills
