About the Role
The Administration Officer provides high-quality support to the clinical and operational management teams within the Uniting Recovery headspace Early Psychosis Program. This is a key front-line role that ensures our services run smoothly while supporting the wellbeing of young people in the community.
About you, your experience and skills
We're looking for someone enthusiastic, adaptable, and highly organised. You’ll bring strong administrative skills, a can-do attitude, and a passion for supporting young people and mental health services.
Whether you're seeking experience in the mental health or NGO sector or looking for a meaningful role with purpose and variety—this could be a great fit.
Any level of experience is considered; however, we are looking for applicants who:
Essential Criteria
- Are highly organised and able to multi-task.
- Can remain calm and focused on busy environments.
- Are comfortable working in the Mental Health space.
- Have excellent overall computer skills and confident using MS Office applications.
- Flexible approach, including the ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative, and have a proactive approach to problem resolution.

Experience in a similar administrative or reception role in mental health, medical, or youth services
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide daily onsite administrative support to internal staff and external consortium partners
- Manage reception duties including answering calls and greeting visitors
- Monitor and action shared email, voicemail, and fax inboxes
- Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and rescheduling in the Electronic Medical Records system
