About the Role
We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Retail Manager to lead our energetic team at Soul Origin Carindale (Westfield). As the Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations, team leadership, and driving performance across sales, service, and store culture. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment and is ready to take ownership of a store that lives and breathes fresh food and outstanding coffee.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, train and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
· Manage stock levels, ordering, and ensure operational efficiency
· Drive store performance and meet/exceed sales, profit, and customer targets
· Implement marketing, promotional and local area marketing initiatives
· Oversee recruitment, on boarding, and ongoing staff development
· Ensure compliance with all Soul Origin procedures, safety, and quality standards
· Manage food quality and food cost to ensure that customers receive excellent product without impacting food cost
· Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
· Prepare rosters, manage budgets, and monitor food and labour costs
· Ensure consistent store presentation and adherence to brand standards
· Build a strong store culture that reflects Soul Origin values and customer focus
What We're Looking For
· Diploma-level qualification in business, hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
· 1–2 years of experience in a retail or hospitality management role
· Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
· Strong understanding of sales performance and business operations
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example
· Passion for fresh food, coffee, and delivering standout service
· A can-do attitude with drive, initiative, and accountability
