About the Role
As State Manager – QLD, you will be the driving force behind our operational performance, service delivery and regional growth. You’ll lead a high-performing, multi-site workforce and collaborate closely with national leaders to ensure we remain ahead of the curve in client experience and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance: Lead end-to-end QLD operations, ensuring compliance, profitability, and service excellence
People Leadership: Inspire, mentor and manage a diverse team, including recruitment, training, and succession planning
Client Relationships: Build trust and rapport with key clients, law enforcement and subcontractors
Growth & Strategy: Contribute to national business development, tender submissions and future-proofing operations
Performance Management: Oversee rosters, payroll, leave balances, audits and asset management
Incident Management: Ensure timely escalation and uphold our strong safety culture
What You’ll Bring:
5+ years’ experience in a senior operational or state management role (ideally in security or facilities)
Proven ability to manage large teams and drive service excellence across multi-site contracts
Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills
Business development experience with a focus on quality outcomes
A valid QLD Security License and relevant qualifications
A hands-on, proactive leadership style with a strong commitment to WHS
