FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Coolgardie / Kalgoorlie

MUST HAVE A MANUAL MR / HR LICENCE & FORKLIFT

About You

You will be a motivated and professional hospitality-minded specialist that contributes in improving the quality of life for village residents living and working away from home. With a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to be flexible on site you thrive on responsibility and are accountable for your results – taking full personal ownership of the role.

The Core Accountabilities of the Position are:

Forefront of day-to-day mining operations, moving workers around the camp, mine site, and aerodrome safely and on time

Picking people up from the airport, driving them to the camp village and then to the mine site on a daily basis.

General housekeeping on mine site and cleaning of rooms, buildings, equipment and common/public areas.

Ensure that the highest achievable quality of work is maintained across all Catering services.

Any other duties as and when required, provided the employee has the required training/certification/licensing to carry out these duties in a safe manner. This also includes assisting other departments within the Village Operations to achieve the required outcome if and when required

To be successful, you will have:

Essential

Have a can do attitude and able to complete manual handling tasks with a keen safety awareness.

Team player

A Handy person - basic maintenance skill.

Mine site driving experience

Australian Citizen & Permanent residence

A valid MANUAL MR/HR Australian Driver’s License

National Police Clearance (within 3 months)

White Card

Able to pass a medical and drug screen

Able to operate forklift

Desired

A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011- Provide First Aid) - issued within last 3 years

Demonstrated experience in a FIFO village environment
