Programmed are currently looking for experienced employees to join a well known production facility, specializing in pre-packeted meat product located in Heathwood. We currently have multiple opportunities across day and afternoon shifts within various departments of the facility.
Current vacancies include knife hands, bandsaw operators, line runners, machine operators and general hands.
About the roles:
Working in a pre-packeted meat processing facility
Handling raw meat products such as pork, lamb & beef
Manual handling where required up to 25kg
Quality checks
Weighing and labelling packaged goods
General hygiene / cleaning maintenance
What We Are Offering:
Work-Life Balance – Enjoy the flexibility of 12-hour day shifts 3-4 days a week (inclusive of Sat and Sun shifts); or opt for 8-hour afternoon shifts Monday to Friday
Pay – Competitive hourly rates starting from $29 - $32+, with opportunity to increase your earning potential via upskilling!
Uniforms Provided - Onsite uniform provided, including safety gumboots

What are we looking for?
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Food or meat handling exposure is desirable but not essential
Willing to work within a cold room environment (7 degrees)
Willing to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork)
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work within a team-based environment
Ability to provide proof of working rights in Australia
