About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Flagship Store Manager to lead the operations of one of our high-profile locations in Chatswood or Sydney CBD (smaller size). In this role, you will oversee one of our largest store teams and manage high customer traffic and sales volume. You will take full ownership of store performance—from team development and operational excellence to delivering a premium shopping experience that reflects the MINISO brand.
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned retail leader looking to step into a bigger role with higher impact and visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of flagship store operations, including large team management, inventory control, merchandising, and compliance with company standards.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a large and diverse team (20+ staff), including Assistant Managers and Supervisors, to deliver outstanding service and exceed sales targets.
Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to build a high-performing team with clear career development pathways.
Deliver excellent customer service by training and motivating the team to follow service standards and protocols.
Implement and optimize store strategies to drive foot traffic, maximize conversion, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Monitor store KPIs and use data-driven insights to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability.
Ensure consistent communication with regional and head office departments to align store operations with business goals.
Manage and respond effectively to any in-store incidents, ensuring customer and team safety at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a flagship, high-volume, or large-format store.
Proven ability to lead large teams, drive results, and manage operational complexity.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership style
Commercially savvy, customer-focused, and detail-oriented.
Proficient with POS systems, rostering, and basic reporting.
Available to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
