Bliss & Beyond are looking for a Retail Store Manager with a proven history of outstanding sales to lead the team at our Tweed Heads store. This, combined with a love of female fashion, will make you the perfect candidate.
Bliss & Beyond is a clothing and homewares retailer with stores across the South East QLD and Northern NSW. Our customers love our diverse range of products, our affordable price point, and our personal customer service.
The Retail Sales Store Manager is ultimately responsible for the successful achievement of sales results within the store. You will achieve this through your outstanding sales strategies, exemplary customer service, established or ability to develop leadership and management of staff, attention to detail and full ownership and responsibility of your store.
Inspired by optimism, teamwork, integrity, creativity and your exceptional work ethic, you will extensively contribute, through service and product sales, to the Bliss & Beyond vision and mission of helping our customers find beautiful pieces that make them feel confident!
Reporting directly to the remote Director/Owners, the Store Manager will work closely with other store managers and staff to exceptionally fulfil their duties.
Essential skills and experience:
Be an internally motivated leader who is driven by achieving sales results
Have outstanding customer service and communication
A demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales targets
Strong retail store leadership - coach and lead by example to motivate your team
Set a vibrant energy in store through outgoing and positive behaviours
Promote the brand through strong visual merchandising skills to create a unique store environment that speaks to our customers
Manage and take ownership of all aspects of your store through your attention to detail; consistently managing store tasks around customer service
Create an exceptional customer experience and provide styling advice
Be able to use data to identify opportunities and inform your practice
Manage new stock deliveries and merchandise the store to turn over stock quickly
Work with other Store Managers and Owners on rosters and payroll budgets

Key responsibilities:
Positive Leadership
The store leader will have excellent leadership skills, or ability to develop them quickly, which contribute to the ongoing development of the customer base and staff in store. They will be an independent worker who is curious and reflective in their practice for the ongoing development of their team and store.
Positive Relationships
Deliver exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction is maximised
Lead and manage staff to continually develop their skills and competencies
Monitor and appraise staff performance
Build relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the reputation of Bliss & Beyond
Positive Communication
Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives and KPI’s
Be creative and identify ways to attract new customers and increase store traffic
Prepare detailed reports in buying trends, customer requirements and sales
Interact kindly and respectfully with all stakeholders
Maintain important store records g. staff training; policies and procedures
Be able to create social media content for the store
Develop and arrange promotional material and instore displays
Positive Operations
Maintain high levels of workplace health and safety instore for all staff and customers
Visual merchandising of stock to ensure consistent rotation and aesthetic appeal
Maintain high level of security of stock via visual and operational means
Ensure company and store policy and procedures are maintained and adhered to
Lead the upkeep of store presentation – cleanliness
Display initiative to review, devise and communicate potential improvements to company operations, sales, and procedures
