About the Position:
WorkPac is currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our client in Perth. This role will be supporting the civil and bulk earthworks division and is a unique opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects across Western Australia, partnering with Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients. You’ll take a pivotal leadership role in project delivery, team development, and stakeholder engagement—while positioning yourself for future career progression into Project Management and beyond.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead the engineering function across civil construction and bulk earthworks projects.
Oversee project execution to meet timelines, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
Develop and implement construction methodologies aligned with scope and specifications.
Manage technical design reviews, engineering calculations, and constructability assessments.
Assist in procurement, cost tracking, forecasting, and contract administration.
Mentor and guide Project Engineers and Graduate Engineers.
Drive a high-performance culture with a focus on safety, accountability, and collaboration.
Represent the business professionally during audits, meetings, and client inspections.
Skills & Experience Required:
5+ years’ experience in the Australian civil and construction industry.
Background in bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, structures, or similar.
Proven experience working on Tier 1 or Tier 2 projects/clients.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
High proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and relevant construction software.
Strong communication and leadership skills with a solutions-driven mindset.
Flexibility to work across both FIFO and Perth-based projects.
C Class Drivers Licence.
