What You’ll Be Doing

You'll be the heartbeat of our guest experience from the moment they walk in until the moment they leave. No stale reception desk. No robotic scripts. Just real connection and memorable moments.

Guide guests through our online check-in and assist them to familiarise themselves with our hotel amenities

Make barista-quality coffee with heart (we’ll train you if needed!)

Support our restaurant and bar crew—greet, seat, clear, reset—whatever’s needed to keep things flowing effortlessly!

Answer questions, solve problems, and share your local Geelong knowledge wherever needed

Handle guest requests with clarity and confidence

Use your exceptional attention to detail to elevate the ambience of our beautiful spaces

Who You Are

You’ve got something people feel the moment you walk into a room: Presence. Warmth. Genuine care. Whether you’ve worked in a hotel, a café, or a boutique store—you just get people.

We’re looking for:

An independent self-starter who loves making things happen with experience in a guest-facing hospitality role

Someone who knows their way around food & beverage service

Barista experience or a solid coffee obsession

Know your way around a bar and confident to serve our guests a drink

Personable and confident engaging with guests and creating genuine connections

Calm and solution-focused in a dynamic environment

Confidence with tech and helping others navigate it

Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently and in a team

Has full work rights and flexibility to work a rotating 7-day roster (including weekends and nights)

Bonus points for Opera PMS knowledge, but we’re happy to teach you too!
